About Us

Welcome to Tharu Research Center We’re glad you’re here.

My name is Omkar  Rana, and I’m the person behind this blog. I started this site as a way to share my passion for Tharu Culture, and I’ve been amazed at how it’s grown over the years.

Here at Tharu Research Center , we’re all about Tharu Culture. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, we hope you’ll find something here that inspires you.

A little bit about me: I’m a DIOS Officer and I’ve been interested in  Tharu Culture for as long as I can remember. When I’m not working on the blog

I’m also lucky enough to have a great team of writers and editors who help make this blog possible. They’re all passionate about tharu culture and are committed to bringing you the best content possible.

So whether you’re here to learn something new, connect with like-minded people, or just have some fun, we hope you’ll find what you’re looking for here at Tharu Research center. Thanks for stopping by!

Travelling day in and day out. Doing business like this takes much more effort than doing your own business at home, and on top of that there's the curse of travelling, worries about making train connections, bad and irregular food, contact with different people all the time so that you can never get to know anyone or become friendly with them. It can all go to Hell!

Our Mission

The research should aim to build a bridge between traditional and modern knowledge systems, and to support the preservation and revitalization of traditional cultural practices and knowledge. It should be conducted in a culturally sensitive manner, with full respect for tribal sovereignty and community rights.
